Produce can be hit or miss up here I’ve come to find out. I was impressed with this market on what they had. I got a basket full of goodies. Spendy for some stuff but you get what you pay for. I thought the variety was solid. Definitely a place I’ll be back to!

High priced but fresh. Lots of great seafood. With an excellent person there to fillet your fresh fish. About 20 or 30% above the big box stores but much nicer selection and it actually belongs to descendants of immigrants who have created a great product and supported Anchorage as a neighborhood and gotten the ingredients that people wanted for a long time. I greatly appreciate this Market. People congregate here. Everybody loves their food options and café. A+ plus.

Props to the produce guy. I visited specifically to buy local sprouts. They were selling some new sprout mixes I hadn't tried, but was interested in, so I checked the price then grabbed a bag and proceeded to the check stand, where I was charged more than the price posted in the produce section. I questioned the checker, who questioned another staff member nearby. They said the price charged was correct. Did I read the price card at the cooler wrong, I wondered. I had declined a receipt--I almost always do--so I dropped the sprouts off in my car, then walked back to check the posted price. That price was what I had remembered. I removed the price card to take it to the check stand. I hadn't really planned what to say, whether to ask for a partial refund so that I was paying the price marked, or what, but, turns out, Mr. Produce Man saw me taking the price card, and asked me what was up. I told him. He said probably they hadn't made new price cards to jibe with the register price yet, then he asked if I wanted a refund. I explained that I didn't have a receipt, so he asked if I wanted another package of the sprouts for FREE! I said yes, but I was uncomfortable walking out with merch

Excellent little oriental market that has everything a demanding health conscious person can ever desire under one roof ! A bit pricey but well worth the expense . Fresh vegetable & fruit section well stocked . Sushi counter , freshly made hot oriental food counter that sells by the pint or quart. Cafe with excellent gourmet roasted coffee, teas, freshly made cookies , cakes , muffins (banana nut my favorite !). And has an awesome salad bar . Order to go or eat it on site . Incredible stock of Alaskan fresh fish & seafood . Also has a nice indoor eating area with well Illuminated, sunny seating.

One of my favorite places to visit in Anchorage! Fantastic service! So friendly! Really great prepared deli food and hot bar! Amazing seafood counter that will vacuum seal fresh fish for travel! Wonderful variety of foods! The coffee and Cafe located inside is terrific! They have delicious salmon spread in the deli counter as well!
